Ingredients:
- 2 lb. beef steak sliced into ½ inch strips
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 red bell pepper deseeded and sliced into thin strips
- 1 green or yellow bell pepper deseeded and sliced into thin strips
- 1 medium onion peeled and sliced into thin strips
Procedure:
- Mix all marinade ingredients in a shallow dish.Place steak strips into the marinade and refrigerate for two to four hours.
- Heat a large pan over medium heat, cook and stir beef until all liquid is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes. Set aside.
- Using the same pan, add in cooking oil. Place the sliced onions, bell peppers and a pinch of salt. Cook until soft.
- Add the cooked beef steak to the fajita veggies and toss to combine.
- Best served with warmed tortilla.
